Kelly McKone, Executive Vice President of Real Estate
Kelly McKone brings nearly three decades of commercial real estate expertise to Bakken Communities, LLC and 1784 Capital Holdings. Throughout his career, Mr. McKone has honed his skills in leasing, sales, asset management and development of a variety of commercial projects.
As Executive Vice President of Real Estate, Mr. McKone coordinates all phases of the company’s real estate activities s from site selection and entitlement work to construction and management of all properties and ultimate disposition.
Mr. McKone’s career has included positions at leading commercial real estate companies that include CB Richard Ellis, Cushman & Wakefield, and Westcor Partners. He has applied his expertise on behalf of clients such as Allstate Insurance Company, JP Morgan Chase, U-Haul International, Prudential Insurance Company, and Princeton Endowment Fund. Throughout his tenure, Mr. McKone has been recognized as a top producer and a leading professional in his field.
His involvement in the commercial real estate industry has involved the Urban Land Institute (ULI), National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), and the Arizona Self-Storage Association (ASSA) and Self-Storage Association (SSA.)
A third-generation native of Phoenix, Mr. McKone has not only witnessed but been a participant in the phenomenal evolution of the expanding city. He is actively involved in the community as a member of the Phoenix Thunderbirds and a dedicated volunteer for the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. He has served as a leader in the successful, $10 million capital campaign of St. Simon & Jude School. Additionally, he has served on the boards of Catholic Service Awards and Catholic Education Arizona.
Mr. McKone is a graduate of Brophy College Preparatory and the University of Arizona. He and his wife, Sue, have parented three wonderful children to full adulthood and now enjoy traveling in their free time.
